The academic staff of the Department of Economics came together at a breakfast meeting held on Friday, 19 December 2025, at 9:30 a.m. Organized during the ongoing 2024–2025 academic year fall semester, the gathering aimed to evaluate the work carried out during the term and to strengthen academic exchange among faculty members. The event was chaired by Prof. Dr. Faruk BAL, Dean of the Faculty of Political Sciences and Head of the Department.
The breakfast meeting was also attended by Prof. Dr. Gülfettin ÇELİK, Rector of the University, and Prof. Dr. Yaşar BÜLBÜL, Vice Rector, both of whom are members of the Department of Economics. In his remarks, Rector ÇELİK addressed the academic activities conducted across the university and the ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of teaching and learning processes. Emphasizing the importance of student-centered practices, he underlined that academic collaboration, mutual support, and effective communication play a vital role in strengthening university culture.
